A collaborative work with Iowa poet Mallory Abreu as a part of the Life Lines print series
This love poem draws inspiration from the Spanish word "sonrisa," meaning "smile," and expresses how seeing someone you love smile feels like experiencing the warmth of a sunrise.
These pieces were created using hand-set wood and metal type and printed on a Vandercook SP-15 printing press. Each piece was printed together with the author in our letterpress shop at Mainframe Studios.
This print measures 11 x 14 and is printed on heavy cardstock. Each print is signed and editioned by the poet.
